Default Everything suddenly changed to chinese

This isn't a problem for me but rather for a guild mate. Apparently he was setting up his interface then he started to chat and everything came out in chinese. Apparently all his skill description, party menu, everything is in chinese(as if he had switched the text language to chinese). However he says that his text language is set to english. He has already tried changing the text language to some other kind of language and back to english with no effect. Everything remains in chinese. He has also already exited the game and reentere, everythin is still in chinese.

so i'm just asking the community anyone have a possible answer for how to fix this and why it happened?

Once again... i state the text language IS SET to english, everything is in chinese for no apparent reason.

if you hold right ctrl, it change everything to 2ndary language set. It is possible that his keyboard setting for windows changed and made permanent change to his key.

I am guessing it is like holding shift too long and the auto-shift function popped out.

Try holding right ctrl (not left ctrl) for awhile and see if that work.

my 2 cents

Though my solution might not work, I believe the problem is around that area.
